Webflow Integration

Linking Skribra to your Webflow site is the quickest way to transform AI-generated content into published, traffic-driving blog posts. The integration lets you push fully formatted articles with images, metadata, and proper structure straight into your Webflow CMS.

This removes the manual work of copying and pasting, avoiding typos and formatting mistakes while giving you the flexibility to schedule posts ahead of time or publish them right away.

Prerequisites#

Before getting started, ensure you have the following in place:

  • Your Webflow site must be on a CMS or Business plan
  • At least one CMS Collection should be set up to store your blog posts
  • You need Admin or Editor access to the Webflow site you want to connect

Getting Started#

Setup takes just a few steps:

  1. Go to Integrations in your Skribra dashboard
  2. Choose Webflow
  3. Click Connect to Webflow
  4. Log in to your Webflow account when prompted and authorize Skribra
  5. After authorization, select the Webflow site you want to connect

Field Mapping Setup#

Once your Webflow site is connected, Skribra's AI agent will attempt to automatically identify the best CMS Collection for your blog posts. If a suitable collection isn't found, you can select one manually from the Webflow integration page in your dashboard.

If none of your collections are compatible, you may need to adjust your Webflow CMS Collections to include the required fields for Skribra to map content properly.

Here's the recommended field structure for your Webflow CMS Collection:

  • A title field (text, required)
  • The article body (Rich Text field, required)
  • An author field (text or reference field, optional)
  • A publish date field (date field, optional)
  • A featured image field (image field, optional)

Publishing Content#

With field mapping configured, publishing becomes straightforward. You have two options:

  • Turn on Auto-publish in the Webflow integration settings so Skribra automatically publishes articles as soon as they're generated.
  • Publish articles manually from the Skribra dashboard whenever you're ready.

To publish an article manually:

  1. In your Skribra dashboard, go to the Articles section
  2. Select the article you want to publish (the status must be generated)
  3. Click the Publish button
  4. Choose Publish to Webflow
  5. Within 1-2 minutes, your article will be live on your Webflow site

Skribra handles the rest, taking care of all formatting, media, and SEO details automatically.

Troubleshooting#

If you encounter any issues, verify the following:

  • Your Webflow Collection uses a Rich Text field for the main article content
  • You have the required Admin or Editor permissions
  • If your published article shows a blank page, ensure you have a dedicated collection template page configured in Webflow for the target CMS Collection
