Notion Integration
Connect Skribra to your Notion workspace to automatically publish AI-generated articles directly to your Notion databases.
Prerequisites#
Before connecting, you need:
- A Notion account with access to at least one workspace
- A Notion database where articles will be published (or you can create one)
Step 1: Connect Your Notion Workspace#
Navigate to Project Settings → Integrations in your Skribra dashboard.
- Click "Connect Notion"
- You'll be redirected to Notion's authorization page
- Select the workspace you want to connect
- Click "Allow access"
- You'll be redirected back to the app automatically
- Connect, then pick the workspace to allow
Step 2: Select a Database#
After connecting, you'll see the databases Skribra was given access to in your Notion workspace. Click the one that holds your blog posts, then click Select Database to confirm.

Tip: Your Notion database should have at least a Title property (this is required).
Step 3: Map Your Properties#
The system will automatically detect and map your database properties:

To review or change the mapping, click Update Configuration. Pick a different property for any field, choose whether the featured image should also become the page cover, and save.
- The database to publish into
- Only the title is required — map the rest if your database has them
- Also use the featured image as the page cover
Step 4: Test the Connection#
- Click "Test Connection" to verify everything works
- If successful, you'll see a confirmation message
- If it fails, try disconnecting and reconnecting
A fully configured integration shows Ready to Publish, along with the workspace, the database and every mapped property.

Publishing Articles#
Once connected, articles will automatically publish to your Notion database when they reach Published status.
What gets published:
- Article title
- Full article content (headings, paragraphs, lists, images, tables, videos)
- Slug (if mapped)
- Publish date (if mapped)
- Featured image (if mapped)
Note: If an article with the same title already exists in your Notion database, it will be updated instead of creating a duplicate.
Disconnecting#
To disconnect Notion:
- Go to Project Settings → Integrations
- Click "Disconnect Notion"
- Confirm the action
This removes the connection but does not delete any articles already published to Notion.
Troubleshooting#
No Databases Found
- Make sure you gave access to at least one database when connecting
- In Notion's authorization page, select specific databases to share with Skribra
Connection Failed
- Disconnect and reconnect your Notion account
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions in your Notion workspace
Missing Title Property
- Your database needs a Title-type property
- Every Notion database has a Title property by default — make sure it hasn't been removed
Article Not Appearing
- Check that the article status is "Published"
- Verify the database mapping is still active in your settings
- Try refreshing your Notion page
